Live Learn and Lunch Series: The Story of Ruby Bridges
September 10 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Free
The Story of Ruby Bridges: Presented by Effie from Our Culture is Beautiful (OIC)
Join us for a powerful storytelling experience honoring Ruby Bridges, a courageous six-year-old who made history in 1960 by becoming the first Black child to integrate an all-white elementary school in the South. Through engaging storytelling, we’ll reflect on her bravery, the strength of her family, & the impact her story continues to have on future generations.
Let’s come together to honor history, uplift our youth, & celebrate the beauty of our culture as we head into the new school year.
