Experience the beauty and solitude of the lower Connecticut River during this wonderful time of year. With fewer vessels on the water, and the trees and wildlife starting to show their spring colors, it is different than any other time of the year.
Pass by bald eagle nesting territories. Most of the osprey have returned from their wintering grounds and will either be nesting or very busy with their “nestorations”! Nests are in trees along the river and on the navigation day markers. We tell you about the local wildlife and some interesting details that we see along the way!
Naturalists on board narrate and make sure you don’t miss a thing!
