The Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) will teach you how to protect, detect, and report Medicare fraud, errors, and abuse. Topics will focus on COVID-19 & Vaccine Frauds.

The mission of the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) program is to empower and assist Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers to prevent, detect, and report health care fraud, errors, and abuse through outreach, counseling and education. The SMP program is federally funded by the Administration for Community Living (ACL)and is available nationwide. In Connecticut, SMP is operated by the State Unit on Aging in cooperation with the regional Area Agencies on Aging. The Area Agencies on Aging are private, not-for-profit organizations which serve the needs of older adults or individuals with disabilities.
