DESCRIPTION:Quilts that Care is a dynamic group of volunteers that make and donate handmade quilts to cancer patients. These quilts are distributed by the social workers currently at 19 cancer treatment facilities in CT and growing. \nYou don’t have to be a quilter to join us. We need volunteers to iron\, cut and organize fabric. All materials are supplied to us. There will also be a small collection of sanitized toys\, and creative play items on hand.
