Jane curates and delivers engaging art appreciation programs through her company Culturally Curious\, founded in 2017. Jane holds a master’s in Art History from Boston University and a master’s in Education from Harvard University. Born and raised in NH\, she has worked at some of the state’s most esteemed cultural institutions\, including the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen\, where she served as Executive Director\, and the Currier Museum of Art\, where she held the role of Senior Educator. SUMMARY:Roots of Wonder Gardening Program (Ages 5-8)
DESCRIPTION:Roots of Wonder Garden Sessions is a hands-on gardening program designed for children ages 5–8 at the Litchfield Community Gardens. Through weekly outdoor sessions\, kids will explore how food grows while learning basic gardening skills such as planting\, watering\, harvesting\, and caring for plants. \nParticipants will work together in the garden\, discovering where their food comes from and gaining an appreciation for nature through engaging\, interactive activities. The program encourages curiosity\, teamwork\, and a connection to the natural world. \nSessions run from May 6 to July 29. From May 6 through June 24\, the program meets on Wednesdays from 4:00–6:00 PM. Beginning June 27\, the time shifts to 9:00–11:00 AM. \nSessions will Be Held on Saturday\, June 24th\, Saturday\, July 11th\, and July 25th \nThe cost for the full session is $300. \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER \nThis drop-off program takes place at the Litchfield Community Gardens.
