Join us for a Day Trip to the New York Botanical Gardens for the Around the Table exhibition!
Wednesday September 7th 9AM-5:30PM
LCC Van will Depart at 9AM
You will arrive to the gardens at approximately 11AM where you will have time to explore on your own! Restaurants are available on grounds to enjoy lunch on your own with a beautiful view, or feel free to bring your own bag lunch.
We will depart back to LCC at 3:30PM and arrive back to the Center at 5:30PM!
The "Around the Table" Stories of the Foods We Love invites you to celebrate the plants we ALL eat. Head to the Garden this weekend and throughout summer to discover the foods we share in ways you've likely never seen, with living crops thriving in and around the Conservatory, gardening histories of the African American influence on our culinary world, and gallery spotlights on the unseen stories of the people who make our food possible.
Discover the work of Bronx artists around the Garden as you explore, with dozens of imaginative picnic tables set throughout the landscape, each sharing the artists' personal cultural narratives with color and creativity. Check out the video above to get to know our newest exhibition—your table is waiting!
Cost: $50 Per Person
Cost includes: Admission to the New York Botanical Gardens and a self guided tour of the Around the Table Exhibition.
