Suggested age ranges: 5-12years (K-6 approx)

All inclusive: chess sets, notation books, pencils, clocks and other necessary items will be provided during class.

Instructor: Amenaide Brown is both a ranked US chess player, who competes nationally, and a chess tutor. Amenaide is a Litchfield resident, and is looking to spread her knowledge of chess to the community.

Learn the timeless game of Chess! The teaching tools used will keep kids motivated to learn and improve their Chess skills. More importantly, learning Chess will give them skills that they can take with them throughout life: strategy, tactics, creativity, perseverance and calculated risk-taking.

A variety of learning tools, puzzles and real-time Chess, will provide brain-stimulating challenges and hours of entertainment to kids, even through the natural growing pains of learning the demanding game of Chess.
