This 30 minute workshop provides strategies on various communication skills needed for today’s workplace. This session provides strategies to assist you in being a more effective communicator from the shop floor to the top floor. As an effective communicator we will cover three broad topics: the role of active listening, asking effective questions and how to confidently present your ideas to other members in the company.
Bio - Ann Canfield has been coaching in various business settings for over 20 years helping grow employees and teams to be the best they can be at work. Ann has a Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy and is a certified Life Coach. Ann has been working with young adults in several industries including marketing, sales, customer service, accounting and manufacturing. Ann has also worked with apprentices in cooperation of the State of CT apprenticeship program and taught at Northwestern Community College. Ann has created curriculum and taught various life skill courses online. Ann is an active member of Toastmasters, Women in Manufacturing and volunteers with Catchafire. Ann enjoys nature photography, hiking and exploring the Northeast when weather permits. Her mission statement is to be better today than yesterday but not as good as tomorrow.
