Wednesday, June 9: P. Martin Vanek, Flautist
Martin is a graduate of Hartt College of Music , University of Hartford where he studied Music Education. He was a music teacher in Torrington public schools for over 30 years.
In addition to his teaching career, Martin played clarinet in the Torrington Civic Symphony and the flute, clarinet and saxophone in the Leo Liddle Big Band. He also had the opportunity to perform with the pit band at the Warner Theater for various civic shows.
Martin is also an avid artist of calligraphy, watercolor painting, pen and ink drawings and graphic pencil illustrations and always learning new art and music. His motto is “Learning never takes a vacationâ€.

Performances will be held outdoors (Inside Atrium if weather is inclement)
All Social Distancing and Safety Protocol Will Be Followed
